The Institute of Hair Design was founded with the objective that it would be the finest school and the best value anywhere.

We are proud of what has been achieved and intend to keep our high standards. We are licensed by the State of Tennessee as a school certified to teach cosmetology to students and to teach cosmetologists who would like to become instructors. The educators at the school take a personal interest in the progress of each student. We care about the future of our students and want each of them to succeed. Our classes are small and personalized.

HIGHER EDUCATION ACT – CAMPUS VOTER REGISTRATION SECTION
In accordance with the Higher Education Act Campus Voter Registration Section in 34 CFR Part 668.14, this institution does encourage all certificate or diploma seeking students to register to vote. We provide by mail voter registration forms in the Directors’ Office. In Tennessee, voter registration may be completed in person at the local County Election Commission office, Department of Safety, Department of Health, Department of Human Services, Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, public libraries, County Clerk’s offices, and Register of Deed’s offices.
